Salt Water • Vitamin D • Yoga • Adventure.
A recipe for our soul's success.

The SoulJours are leaving fear behind and heading to warm weather, beautiful  beaches, tropical jungle, and reggae vibes in Cahuita, Costa Rica. Located on the  Caribbean side of Costa Rica, we'll explore the concept of "Vision" in its purest form. On this soul journey, our spirit animal is the jaguar, a native animal to the jungle revered in ancient cultures. Sexy, confident, and fearless, a jaguar's gift is its vision – visualizing until manifestation has occurred. Breathing from the center of its being, jaguars are in tune with the subtle body. They symbolize the power of intent, reminding us to go within, release our fears, and heal our emotions in order to awaken our inner sight. Traveling to another culture provides us an experience to reflect upon the direction we are heading with greater ease – to reveal Essence, activate Purpose and rock Truth.

Each morning features a SoulJour Experience with movement, meditation, breathwork, and introspective writing with Talaya and Ashley and possibly a guest teacher or two. From there, we'll set out on the day's adventure. Meals are fresh, organic whenever possible and authentic to the region. Like jaguars, we'll enjoy time alone and also intimate time with our group. The jaguar's energy is lunar and our experience will culminate on Saturday night with a full moon ceremony.

Bring your bathing suit, a curious mind, a receptive heart, and a pen and join us on this AUMazing soul journey where jungle meets beach meets culture.

Our small group maximum is 10 people and we will be socially distanced throughout our journey. This area of Costa Rica is VERY MELLOW and we won't be in any crowds. You must get a Covid test 72-hours prior to departure to the U.S. We have a list of sites to obtain the test.

About the Presenters

Ashley Melin, Founder of SoulJour

Ashley Melin is the founder of SoulJour, a holistic yoga lifestyle brand dedicated to the seeker, sage and warrior in us all. She is also the principal of Point3 Design, a full-service graphic design studio for nearly 20 years with clients including Nike, Starbucks and Columbia Sportswear. Taking her first yoga class in 1992 at the recommendation of her parents, she never looked back and has since studied extensively with many of the most renowned teachers all over the world. After a life changing 3-month solo journey through India in 2004, she founded Aum Adventures (now part of SoulJour) – a travel company aimed at getting people out of their comfort zone and into the magical chaos of India. As an avid mountain biker, skier, 10 time marathon runner, and big mountain climber (climbing over 25 peaks above 14,000 feet ), she has an intimate understanding of pushing limits – physical, emotional, mental – in order to create change. This concept became the most real when Ashley divorced her partner of nearly 20 years and was given the opportunity to dive deeply into her soul. It was during this time that the idea for SoulJour was born. She currently resides in Bend, OR with her 11 year old son and 2 dogs.
